 Air Fryer Avocado Fries


These air fryer avocado fries are delicious when paired with a straightforward spicy ranch sauce because they are perfectly crispy on the exterior and creamy on the inside.



Ingredients :

  • 3 slightly under-ripe avocados
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • Nonstick cooking spray for air fryer
  • Coarse salt, optional
  • Fresh lime juice, optional


For the dipping sauce

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing, store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha


STEPS :

     1. Avocados should be cut :

Remove the avocados' pits by halves them. Scoop out each avocado half whole using a big spoon. Cut each half lengthwise into 5 pieces.


     2. Dip the avocados in the panko mixture after making it :

Combine the panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and black pepper in a medium bowl. Eggs should be combined in a separate bowl. Each slice of avocado is dipped in egg, then thoroughly covered with panko mixture.


     3. Fry the slices of avocado :

On the air fryer basket, apply nonstick cooking spray. Put as many avocado fries as you can into the air fryer basket without touching one another. You ought should have room for an entire avocado (10 fries). Fries are air-fried for three minutes on each side at 350°F. The ideal color for them is crispy golden brown. Repeat with the other batches.

Alternately, bake the avocado slices for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are golden brown, in a 350°F oven.


     4. Serve :

Before serving, give the fries some time to cool. Serve with the dipping sauce or, if preferred, sprinkle with salt and lime juice. Only prepare as many cooked avocado fries as you intend to consume because they don't store well.
